Oakley, a leading supplier of prescription glasses to the U.S. military and other organizations, is in the midst of a major recall of the glasses, which are among the most widely used in the industry.

The company issued a statement late Monday saying it was “aware of the recall of several of our products, including some prescription glasses.”

“While the number of glasses impacted by this recall is small, the impact on the U-Haul workforce and the UHaul supply chain is significant,” the statement said.

“We have been in touch with our customers, including many of the Uhaul distributors, and are working closely with them to resolve the issue.”

The company is aware that many of our customers have reported experiencing a temporary drop in vision after replacing their prescription glasses.

“The Uhaul Glass Company said it was in contact with the Ulloa, California-based company about the issue.

Ulloa Glass Co. is a major supplier of glasses to U.s. and U.K. military forces.

It said it had no comment.UHaul Glass Co., which has been producing prescription glasses since 1975, said in a statement that it is working with Ullozas manufacturer and supplier, Oakley.”

We are aware of the issue with our prescription glasses and are in contact directly with Oakley about the situation,” it said.
